Growing up my mom always wrapped gifts in scraps of leftover fabric from her designs and creations. Even now she always has home made gift bags that get reused holiday after holiday, although she always puts a new spin on them with ribbons or bows. She is my Earth Martha.
I took this inventive and ecological action for granted. But when I moved out of my parents house, I quickly realized that since I neither sew, nor craft, excess fabric is hard to come by and I did the walk of shame down the wrapping paper aisle. That's why I was delighted to see these adorable Give Wraps from Chewing the Cud.
Made from organic cotton and printed with soy ink, who could ask for a more perfect wrapping to put the finishing touch on the gift you worked so hard to pick out.

So much cooler and more diverse than the standard (wasteful) wrapping paper.
